About IABA Colorado
IABA Colorado – Italian American Business Association – is unique. We are the only Italian American Business Association in the State of Colorado (U.S.A.)
We were incorporated in 2006 as a Colorado Non-Profit Corporation and under the U.S. Internal Revenue Code as a 501(c)(6) Business League, the same classification as chambers of commerce. Our corporate headquarters is in Denver, Colorado.
IABA Colorado is dedicated to the development of businesses, trades and services throughout Colorado, nationally and internationally. Through this development we also promote our communities and the state of Colorado.
We work to advance the connections between Italy and Colorado by fostering trade, tourism, investments and economic cooperation.
IABA Colorado is open to Italian and non-Italian individuals, companies and organizations who share our passion for promoting our mission and strategies.
We are a non-political organization. We respect the political views of our individual members and their right to express those views. However, IABA Colorado as a body will neither promote nor endorse any political party or candidate.
Who We Are:
The Italian American Business Association, or IABA, is a group of business professionals from the metro Denver Area. While our membership is largely composed of people of Italian ancestry, anyone who appreciates our mission can become a member.
Our members, including the Board of Directors, are volunteers who donate their time and skills to the association. We are from local, state, national and international organizations. These include public and private businesses and corporations; trades; services; not-for-profit businesses and organizations; government agencies; quasi-public entities and academic institution.
What We Are About:
The purpose of the IABA is to unite, serve and support Italian American business and organizations. Individually and collectively, our members work to support and improve business for our community. We do this by shopping our members first; facilitating the introduction of Italian American-made products to the greater Denver retail market; building good will between our association and local governments, businesses and the community-at-large; and establishing a spirit or cooperation in an effort to promote economic growth.
